Have been here a couple times.
They have a nice Valentines dinner.
Great food, service, and atmosphere/ambiance.
Will definitely stay on our list! -

After dining here, I can see why reviews are all over the place. If you dine here frequently, I bet you'll find items on the menu you love, but you might have to work at it a bit. It felt a bit strange to me to have this place billed as "New" cuisine yet "Old" style decor, though comfortable and relaxing.
I never know whether I will like brown salsa when it's brought to the table with chips. In this case, I absolutely loved it, couldn't stop dipping the warm chips into it. That was a great start to the meal. It went down a notch with drinks, two different margaritas, which were both pretty obviously weak.
There's nothing fancy about the meals, and that's both a positive and negative. For my "47 Ranch" entree, the pecan grilled chicken taco was my favorite part of it, and I refused to put it down after I started eating it. The beef in the enchilada was lean and well prepared, but overall, it didn't grab me. Enjoyable, yes, memorable, no.
I still think think this is a place I'd dine frequently if I lived locally. It feels like it would be a "go-to" kind of place where food and service is dependable and consistent. -

What kitchen leaves Bay Leaves in the food? The posole soup had a bunch of bay leaves still floating around which is both dangerous and disgusting. Was it the last batch of soup and they were scraping the bottom of the soup pot at 9pm on a Tuesday night? The other soup was alot better, but not served hot. The green Chile chicken soup was still good.
Known for pecan wood grilling, the two tacos I received had the pecan grilled chicken and shrimp, but those meats were buried around cabbage and a ton of unknown white sauce. Both tacos needed less condiments to show off the meat. The rice was extremely salty as well.
We did not care for the glob of salsa that seemed immobile in the dish either. It just wasn't technically salsa. Waitress was nice, but offered bad recommendations. -

I went again with my dad tonight in hopes that he would like the food. I ordered the steak with shrimp, chicken enchilada and green chili potato. The steak was made medium rare exactly how I wanted it to be, however the food has no flavor. My dad ordered the meatloaf and said the same thing.
It's just not worth it to waste the money on the food. The ambiance is the best thing this place has to offer. I do want to add our server was great. I keep going back hoping I'll find something I like. Unfortunately, it never happens. -

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere!
I've been here a few times and my favorite dish is yesterday's meatloaf -- that's saying a lot considering I don't even like regular meatloaf!
The margaritas aren't bad either! Highly recommended!
